We provide training addressing wellbeing and mental health, to improve individual and workplace resilience through giving individuals and teams personal toolkits to enable every person to look after themselves and the team they work with. Our vision is to share this training throughout the wider community.
We provide tailored one, two, or an intensive three day training courses depending on an organisation’s specific requirements. The course covers factors that can affect resilience and good mental health. Working in a supportive environment and making connections with others are key factors in maintaining our mental health and wellbeing. The training helps identify protective factors and assists each individual on the course create a personal toolkit to keep well. We discuss the importance of a healthy diet, getting a good night’s sleep, connecting with nature and links between physical exercise and maintaining good mental health. The course also covers when things are not going well and developing a crisis plan and post crisis plan.
Whatever your goals or challenges, you can use WRAP to make action plans that help you get well, stay well, and recover after a crisis. It’s an act of hope and strength to help yourself, furthermore there’s a whole WRAP community ready to help too!
WRAP isn’t an expensive plan or medical treatment; it’s a simple written plan that you create, manage and can choose to share with your supporters (when you want). A core WRAP belief is that there are no limits to recovery and wellness. “Wellness” is different for everyone; people are all unique and have a variety of life experiences, stressors/ challenges.
